This webinar will feature Professor Bert George, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Public Management Review (PMR), who will share practical insights into designing, conducting and publishing literature reviews that make a meaningful contribution to public management research.

While literature reviews are an essential part of every researcher's toolkit, not all reviews are created equal. This session will explore how review articles can move beyond simply summarising existing knowledge to identifying new research directions, generating theoretical contributions, and shaping future research agendas.

Drawing on his editorial published in Public Administration Review and recent examples from his own research group, Professor George will discuss the different approaches to literature reviews, when each approach is most appropriate, and what distinguishes reviews that successfully reach leading journals in the field.

Whether you are an early career researcher, PhD candidate, or experienced scholar looking to strengthen your review methodology, this webinar will provide practical guidance and valuable publishing insights.
