We seek a public administration generalist, with responsibilities including teaching core and elective MPA courses, course design, mentorship, and service contributions related to program development and assessment. Key qualifications the search committee seeks include: • A master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, or a closely related field (doctorate strongly preferred) • Demonstrated effectiveness as an instructor in both online and in-person settings • Significant applied or professional experience in the public, nonprofit, or government sectors • Capacity to contribute to online programming, curriculum innovation, and NASPAA accreditation-related activities • Commitment to advancing public service values and inclusive pedagogy • Ability to mentor students through internships, applied projects, and capstone experiences Preferred qualifications: • Doctorate in Public Administration, Public Affairs, Public Policy, Political Science, or related field • Proven experience in course design and evidence-based teaching approaches • Engagement with professional organizations and communities of practice in public service
