This category applies to delegates who are not current members of IRSPM.

IRSPM Members

Individuals with an active 2025/2026 IRSPM membership are eligible to register as a member.

The registration system identifies members as an IRSPM active member using the email address associated with their IRSPM membership. If you have any problems, contact us at irspm2026@ecu.edu.au.

All IRSPM members (full, student, and emeritus) will be required to enter their IRSPM membership number. The IRSPM membership number can be found in the email sent on 20 November 2026 from irspm2026@ecu.edu.au, or by contacting the IRSPM team at membership@irspm.org.

Student

Current students are eligible for the student rate. Postdoctoral fellows and interns do not qualify for this rate. All students must upload proof of enrolment at the time of registration, either a valid student card or a signed letter from their Department Head or supervisor confirming their student status.

Emeritus

The emeritus/emerita discount applies to academics who have been formally awarded this title. All emeriti must upload proof of status at the time of registration, such as a signed letter from their institution confirming their emeritus/emerita title.

Please note, that for above registration categories, the membership number and proof of status will be manually checked before your registration is confirmed.

Credit card (Visa / MasterCard / American Express)

• IRSPM has subcontracted credit card payments to the secure payment service Stripe, which guarantees confidentiality and security.

Bank transfer is not supported.

Cheques and cash are not accepted. ​

IMPORTANT: Registrations are only valid upon receipt of the correct registration fee. If payment is not received by the deadline, your registration will be cancelled (charges outlined in the Cancellation Policy will apply), and you will not have access to the conference.

IMPORTANT: If a delegate pays the incorrect fee, the outstanding difference (plus a 3% processing charge) will be required to secure the registration.

The cancelation can be performed either by the registered participants or by the conference host in case of failure to supply required proof of status or pay the registration fee in time (see below):

Cancellation before 12 March 2026 (23:59 CET):

• AUD $70 registration processing fee will be deducted from all refunds.

Cancellation between 13 and 20 March 2026 (23:59 CET):

• 50% cancelation fee will apply.

Cancellation after 20 March 2026 (23:59 CET):

• No refunds of any type will be given.
• All cancellations must be made via ExOrdo registration platform by accessing your registration and cancelling your existing registration.
• Delegates who do not cancel and/or do not attend, will not be refunded.
• The organisers retain the right of cancelling the registration of any participant if any of the following conditions are not met:

1. Participants fail to provide sufficient supporting documentation for their conference fee category selected at registration in due time (that is, within 15 days of being requested to do so and by 20 March 2026 at the latest)
2. Participants fail to pay the correct amount for their approved registration category in time (that is, within 7 days of being requested to do so and by 20 March 2026 at the latest). In the case of payment by bank transfer the amount debited on the organiser’s bank account will be taken into account.

Transfers:

• Tickets may be transferred if required. Please contact the Event Organiser.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive information about the Event by email from the Event Organiser.

If the IRSPM Conference 2026 cannot be held at the planned location or time due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers (hereinafter referred to as a Force Majeure event), different cancellation conditions will apply.

A Force Majeure event may include, but is not limited to, public health emergencies, natural disasters, armed conflicts, or government restrictions or orders that make it physically impossible for the conference to proceed as scheduled.

In the case of a Force Majeure event, neither IRSPM nor the Conference Organisers shall be held liable for any damages, costs, or losses incurred by attendees, including but not limited to travel expenses, accommodation costs, financial losses, or any other indirect or consequential damages.

Under these circumstances, the Conference Organisers reserve the right to:

• retain the full registration fee to be applied towards a future IRSPM Conference, or
• issue a partial refund to the attendee after deducting any non-recoverable costs already incurred in organising the event, as defined in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

International delegates are responsible for obtaining a valid visa to enter Australia. Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and the length of your stay. Most conference attendees will require a Visitor Visa (subclass 600) or an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA, subclass 601 or 651), which allow short-term visits for business or tourism. We strongly recommend applying for your visa well in advance, as processing times can vary significantly depending on your country of residence. You can check eligibility and apply online through the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs. Ensure you provide accurate information and submit all required documents, including proof of registration and any supporting materials, to avoid delays.

If you require an invitation letter to support your visa application, please indicate this during registration or contact the conference organisers at irspm2026@ecu.edu.au. Invitation letters will only be issued to delegates who have completed their registration and paid the applicable conference fees.
