IRSPM 2026 provides a critical global platform to address these challenges by bringing together researchers and practitioners working across public, not-for-profit, and hybrid organisations worldwide.

The conference supports:

  • global knowledge exchange in public management and policy
  • dialogue between research and practice
  • innovation in governance and public service delivery
  • international collaboration across sectors and regions

By hosting IRSPM 2026, Western Australia becomes the focal point for international debate on the future of public governance and public sector innovation.

Theme

The 2026 conference theme, Beyond Boundaries: Wellbeing, Innovation and the Future of Public Management, explores how public organisations and leaders can respond to complex global disruption, technological change, and evolving societal expectations.

The conference attracts:

  • academic researchers and scholars in public management and public policy
  • public sector leaders and policymakers
