This service offers additional mobility support for participants, complementing the following public transport and adapted taxi options.
Public Transportation
Buses Equipped with Ramps: These vehicles display a dedicated accessibility sticker on the side and front, indicating they are designed to accommodate wheelchairs up to 350 kg with standard dimensions (approx. 112x70x109 cm).
The Hellobus service (https://www.tper.it/hello-bus) provides real-time updates on buses equipped with ramps.
Look for the message "BUS XXXX CON PEDANA" on the arrival screen or app.
For buses with longer intervals (more than 15 minutes between rides), a vehicle with a ramp can be requested by calling the TPER call center at +39 051 290290, at least three business days in advance, specifying the required time and bus stop. Please note that the call center operates in Italian; however, members of the Local Organizing Committee are available to assist if needed.
Key Bus Routes for the Conference
- Bus No. 35 (Weekdays only): depending on the time of the day, operates between 7 and 15 minutes and connects the train station to the Congress Center.
- Bus No. 38 (every day including Sundays and public holidays): Connects the train station to the fair district, serving those arriving on Sunday and staying in the area. It runs every 30 minutes and requires advance booking for the ramp via TPER call center.
Taxis adapted vehicles for wheelchair users and passengers with mobility impairments can be booked through Taxi Bologna.
